Our place is at the Hawthorne Building, 39th and Hawthorne, upstairs and across the hall from Smokin' Glass.  SORRY!  But, the MCRC Office (when not in use for these gala events) is otherwise by appointment only at this time.  The address is 3862 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Unfortunately, we are NOT wheelchair access friendly and are working on a solution.

It's A Beautiful Pizza (3341 SE Belmont, Portland, 503.233-5444, www.beautifulpizza.com) in conjunction with the MCRC present an evening of food, music and activism to benefit the MCRC.  Get information about the Oregon Medical Marijuana program, register to vote, sign petitions, stuff yer face - all for a mere $5 donation.  Music and activism with your pie, and help end the war at the same time!  An excellent opportunity to sign the Personal Privacy petition or pick some up to gather signatures yourself.

Aug. xxth & xxth, Sat - Sun.  Seattle Hempfest (3rd w/e in Aug.?) at Myrtle Edwards Park (Downtown Seattle).  A Premier Northwest cannabis activist event happening in Seattle, WA., admission is free.  It's going to be activist central as MCRC is a hosting an all affiliate booth as part of their Letter Campaign (ref <http://www.pdxnorml.org/#LetrCampn>) and many activist groups and leaders will be there.  Come and check it out!
