Losers:

1. Oregon voters prevailed at the polls but may find it tough going in Salem. Seven of the 11 lawmakers assigned to the interim committee charged with implementing the doctor-assisted suicide law voted for its repeal. The committee includes three rabid suicide foes from the metro area: Sen. Eileen Qutub and Reps. Ron Sunseri and John Minnis.
